Our objective is to share present experiences and collaborate on new ideas as an ONLINE PEER SUPPORT GROUP for students and workers in the community welfare/human services sector.
History:
C.O.W.S Community Of Welfare Students was created by a group of students that were working on an assignment for the Diploma Of Community Welfare course. We are a community forum that started out as a facebook page for students past and present who have studied in the community welfare/human services sector. We will send invitations by email, to previous and present students from the Diploma of Community Welfare, to join our facebook page and visit our website. We will ask others to email their community welfare/human services friends to join us, share past experiences and what they have or have not been able to achieve.
We hope that they will be able to give us some guidance on how we can accomplish our goals in our choice of profession. We hope that new students of community welfare/human services will continue with our facebook page and website to help others in the future.
